Experimental doodles

First one is a quick doodle of N. I wanted to try using only light colours to stir emotion in the picture.
Second is a drawing of Tsume's OC, Shadow. I tried using new colour combinations but it didn't quite work out. The wolf became too bright. Ahwell. You learn from mistakes. The background colours make me think of fruit candy.

Feels weird to have more submissions than Shannii on this blog now. I still have some old Flow doodles I probably should post. Or maybe not.

I downloaded a demo of Manga Studio today to try it out.
SO HAVE SOME FLEURETTEEEEEEE. (Kinda got the uniform wrong though.)
I really... should put more effort into hands... I just... do something. Always. With sketches I just splat something on the canvas. I only start putting some real thought into them when line-arting...
Oh, I tried putting some tones on it.. but it got all over the page instead. Whoops.

So far I don't like Manga Studio that much. But it seems handy to make comics with.
I colored this in Photoshop though. I wonder if Manga Studio was set to Grayscale...
Can't figure this program out. AT ALL. Uagh..

Maybe I should have called this 'Demon girl' instead, or just the character's name; 'Ming'.
I decided to go for a bunch of saturated tones before adding brighter ones later on.
Let's see how it works out.

Anyway, I figured I should post this WIP before I decide to sleep more.
