I feel like I've improved a bit with digital.

I drew this for my father because he's in the hospital right now.
He uses Linux on his computer and I think he loves it because it's free for everyone, people are allowed to edit it and people can share their edits with other users.
My dad loves sharing things with others, I think I kinda took over that quality.
He's much more giving than me though.

But yeah, because he uses Linux, I have drawn Tux (Linux' mascot) for him in the past (:
So here I thought I would draw it again.
Tried to challenge myself a bit and paint it with Paint Tool SAI (finally figured out how to fix the pen pressure!).
I always rely too much on textures when I use them.

The ribbon that is around Tux' neck is the one for Lung Cancer Awareness.
'Clear' is supposed to be the colour of it, but often white/pearl is used instead for practical reasons.
I just tried something with the coloring of it, but I really want to support the awareness.
November is going to be Lung Cancer Awareness Month, I'm planning on wearing a white ribbon around my wrist starting next Monday.
I don't think people will notice it, but I think wearing it will make me feel a bit better.


Let's now hope my father recovers from the infection he currently has.



P.S: I signed it with 'Nini' because that's what my dad used to call me. Now he calls me 'Gini', but I actually prefer 'Nini' because it sounds so much more personal and loving... and I honestly want only him calling me that ;___;  Kay done rambling.

she's my favourite character because she knows her faults best.

i don't really like blue because her change was kind of abrupt though i can see why, yellow's still a mary-sue and crystal is okay but she's kind of boring. i never really got to know sapphire but i like how she softened up and i generally don't like white that much either (though i know she's new and she had a tragic thing happen to her in the manga so i hope that lets her develop)

platinum started out this rich spoiled kid who was ignorant to other people but you could tell she was eager to know things. the sinnoh arc was very long but in result, the main characters are severely developed and what i love most about the platinum arc is how much you can tell she's changed with diamond and pearl. At the very start of the manga she was described as a princess and she had that 'perfect' aura around her, though as the manga progressed you could tell she really wasn't perfect and had many flaws, which i absolutely love.

'perfect character' -> 'not so perfect'

she has the typical rich kid background yeah, but she definitely had more to give than most rich kids do. ohyeah, and she did't have a tragic rich kid past, either, she had a good one.

she knows her faults, she came to grips with the fact she's a liar and she's stubborn, that she's still a child and she's working on them.

i'm wish i could do that.

she's a fabulous character.

This is Leon, one of Blair's friends.
I suppose he is half human, half animal/demon.
Still figuring it out.
He's affected by Blair's pheromones though, but don't think too much of it.

She works as a mailwoman (:
Her daughter is called Samantha, you might see her soon too.

The people who belong to the Dubois family are Amaryllis, Laurent, Matthias, Mathilda and Blair.
Catherine met Amaryllis when they both were pregnant.
After that their children, Samantha and Blair, became childhood friends.

Oh, Blair has another friend.
You will see him soon too, hopefully.
